Edward W. Rihn, 54, is president and CEO of BHE Transmission, which is comprised of AltaLink, BHE Canada, BHE Montana and BHE U.S. Transmission.

Prior to this role, Rihn served in various leadership roles within BHE Canada, AltaLink, and Air Products and Chemicals.

Rihn has 30 years of experience, including business development, corporate development, government relations, indigenous relations, customer service, consultation, project management and construction management. His career spans industrial gases and chemicals, hydrogen, pipelines, power generation, and electric transmission.

Rihn holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University and an executive master’s degree in technology management from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as a board member for the Canadian American Business Council, AltaLink and TransCanyon.
