Blue Sky is a Top 5 Utility Green Power Program for 11th Year

Rocky Mountain Powers Blue Sky renewable energy program has once again received national recognition. For the 11th year the Energy Departments National Renewable Energy Laboratory ranked PacifiCorp in the top five utility green power programs in the country. For 2013 Blue Sky ranks second for participating customers and third for renewable energy sales through a voluntary program.

Berkshire Hathaway Energy Announces Acquisition of AltaLink L.P. and Joint Transmission Development Agreement with SNC-Lavalin

CALGARY Alberta and DES MOINES Iowa May 1 2014 Berkshire Hathaway Energy has announced it has reached a definitive acquisition agreement whereby Berkshire Hathaway Energy will acquire AltaLink an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. TSXSNC. Under the terms of the agreement Berkshire Hathaway Energy will purchase 100 percent of AltaLink for an estimated C3.2 billion approximately US2.9 billion in cash.
