DES MOINES, Iowa - June 12, 2014 - MidAmerican Renewables announced it has received all necessary regulatory approvals and closed on its transaction to acquire TransAlta's interests in CE Generation, LLC and CalEnergy, LLC, including the Imperial County, California geothermal facilities and natural gas plants in Arizona, Texas and New York.
